Tea Time with Theo

14 Sep

”Theo Presents is centered around the adventures and teachings of the main character, Theo, a student of Godʼs Word. Theo lives in a cozy corner of a quaint English village, in the heart of the Cotswolds, and entertains many guests, including two mice, Belfry and Luther.

The animation series of Theo guides children and adults through a careful study of systematic theology. Theo discusses doctrines about sin, Godʼs character, the Bible, salvation and godly living with easy-to-understand illustrations that make children want to learn more about the Christian faith.”
I sat down this morning with a cup of tea to watch Theo and his friends, Belfry and Luther, chat about the Good News and Saving Faith. I loved that it began with Theo singing Amazing Grace. The illustration used to show that we are separated from God by sin, but that through a relationship with Christ we are reconciled was beautiful. These lessons with Theo are brief but jam packed with God’s Word and easy to understand explanations for kids. They could easily be used at home for family devotions or in children’s ministry as there is a curriculum to go along with each lesson.
